I write voice-driven book club fiction about empowering women. I feature relatable characters that shed light on the universal human condition and consequently change how we see the world. I write about unique family dynamics (sometimes with just a dash of magical realism) to show that we are all more alike than we are different and that there is no such thing as normal. I write primarily about women to open pathways for communication around hard things where women have historically been encouraged to keep silent.
